Opened, read,
and answered.

An unopened IRS envelope does not become less serious in a drawer. Most notices have a response deadline, and most of them are far more fixable than the people holding them believe.

How we work

A Florida company, clear about what we can do

Hyacinthe Financial Services LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, document number L20000251486, filed in 2020, with registration details on public record with the Florida Division of Corporations. Returns are prepared by a paid preparer holding a current IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number, [PTIN].

We prepare returns and help with notices and payment plans. Representing someone before the IRS in an examination, appeal or collection matter requires an enrolled agent, CPA or attorney — where a matter reaches that point we will say so and refer you. We are not a law firm and we are not investment advisers, so we give no legal, investment or insurance advice. And our fees never depend on the size of your refund.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

Do you charge a percentage of my refund?

No, and you should walk away from anyone who does. Fees are fixed and agreed before work starts, so nobody has an incentive to inflate a refund.

Can you make my refund bigger?

We claim everything you are properly entitled to. We will not claim credits or deductions your situation does not support, because that is how people end up owing it back with penalties.

I have not filed for years. Am I in serious trouble?

Usually far less than you fear, and it is more common than you would guess. We start by pulling transcripts so we know what is actually outstanding rather than guessing.

Can you represent me in an audit?

Representation is restricted to enrolled agents, CPAs and attorneys. We will prepare and organise everything, and refer you to someone who can represent you.

I owe more than I can pay. What happens?

An instalment agreement is usually available. The worst outcome is ignoring it — interest and penalties keep running and collection action follows.

Do you advise on investments or insurance?

No. We are not registered investment advisers and that is regulated work. We handle tax preparation.

Got a letter you have not opened?

A free first review. Most notices have a deadline, and most are more fixable than they look.
